In May 2016, Epsilon’s President, Mr. Gregory C. Galanakis, and General Manager, Dr. Konstantinos Poulis had the chance to attend the “2016 Safety, Health and Environmental Conference”, which was organized by Offen Tankers & Bulkers in Manila, the Philippines.
The Conference was a three-day event which took place in the Philippine International Convention Center and lasted from the 24th to the 26th of May.
The well-organized sessions were delivered by Offen Tankers & Bulkers Executives and industry experts as guest speakers. Sessions aimed to promote awareness among crew and share best practice on Safety, Health and Environmental aspects of shipboard performance. The last day emphasized the importance of Port State Control & Inspections and how to pass them without deficiencies to owner’s and manager’s full satisfaction.
The overall event comprised social events too and demonstrated Offen Tankers & Bulkers’ firm commitment to sustainability and safety as well as crew welfare.
