On the 6th of June, a large-scale event was held in Odessa under the auspices of ONMA i.e., the International Forum on Education, Practical Training and Employment of Seafarers. The forum gathered seasoned representatives from the Ukrainian maritime industry and Epsilon actively participated in the proceedings.
A keynote speech was given by the Deputy Head of the Shipping Administration for Digitalization Serhii Maksymov who spoke about the key reforms related to documentation of Ukrainian seafarers, the regulatory acts instituted in the field, and the overall approach to be applied by the Shipping Administration. Special emphasis was given to the future career trajectory of Ukrainian seafarers, the integration of multiple stakeholders’ expectations and the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian maritime sector.
