In February 11, 2017, the staff of Epsilon Maritime Services Inc. visited Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc as part of their Outreach Program.
Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. “House with no Steps” was founded by a Belgian nun who had been sent to the Philippines in 1973. Since then the Center has been offering services such as Community Based Rehabilitation Programs, Educational Training for Persons with Disabilities integrated with regular classes, and vocational training.
As part of their first social responsibility commitment to the community for 2017, Epsilon Manila staff volunteered to help, and the TWH Center asked them to paint their Gymnasium. The painting took place in the weekend of the 11th -12th of February and volunteers felt excited and rewarded by the beautiful experience.
The people of Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc proved an inspiration for all who took part in the activity and subsequently all Epsilon Staff felt blessed with the opportunity to contribute through their community work!
Many thanks and congratulations to all Epsilon Manila staff for their initiative and genuine contribution to the wider community!
